turtleneck.net Writers Guild
In an ongoing pursuit of unpublished writers, turtleneck.net is seeking local
writers to participate in a workshop. The Writers Guild's goal will be to help
writers evaluate and develop works-in-progress with an eye towards publication.
Weekly meetings will include discussions of writer's tools including such topics
as:
- Characterization
- Dialogue
- Point of View
- Dramatization
as well as an ongoing exploration of well-crafted published fiction. Members
will have an opportunity each week to read and discuss other Members' fiction
as well as having their own workshopped. Interested Guild Members will have the
opportunity to have their work considered for publication in turtleneck.net.
Meetings to be held alternating Tuesdays at 7:00pm in the basement of the Royal
Oak Public Library, 222 E. Eleven Mile Rd.
